You may think that SEO and article writing is the slow boat to China! But it is a consistent traffic source of revenue. That's right. Revenue! Sometimes SEO writing is overlooked as it is a specific skill set and different from other forms of writing.

But one has to build it from the ground up. It may take a while for you to see any income from this stream of income as much as 9 months if done right and with ongoing money potential as the articles are done once and seen by many more than you think! More consistent money! Stuff you can take to the bank. Some are making in excess of 10,000 a month after 9 months with one or two articles per week to start and at a much slower pace after that. The number of articles over time is significant to income. So is the niche you choose to write the articles in that is also important. Below are some helpful resources.

1. Writing Skills

To write great articles one needs great sentence skills. Fortunately, these skills can be learned within a matter of weeks--at your pace. I teach these skills as they are the background of finance in general. Without them, people flounder at it not only affects written communications, but also verbal ones. Some think they already have enough skill in this area which is great but the truth is that 48% of Americans and 42% of Canadians do not have these skills down cold. To have confidence in your skills, it is a good idea to learn them properly, and it only takes a short while to acquire them.

I recommend two books that if studied will provide you with the necessary SEO skills as they related to article writing and backlinks.
